Over 60 years of experience at your service

The origins of Favaron Company date back to the end of the 19th century, when it already operated in the footwear field. The focus of the production was the typical Venetian footwear called “sgalmare”. Sometimes also known as “sopèi”, these shoes were formed by a leather upper and a sturdy wooden sole with wide-head nails to avoid rapid wear.

When in the 1950s the Nobel Prize winner Giulio Natta discovered the isotactic polypropylene, Primo Favaron began to make the first plastic heels for luxury shoemakers of the Riviera del Brenta.

Thanks to the versatility of the innovative material and its multiple applications, many companies turned to Favaron, asking for support for the realisation of plastic products.

This was how Favaron began to design new products at the request of its customers. Other materials such as rubber, polycarbonate, polyamide, carbon fibre, rubber and thermoplastic compounds were added to the processing of polypropylene.

Thanks to the experience gained in moulding a wide range of plastic materials, soon the company was able to serve other fields as well. Little by little, at the request of new customers, Favaron began to design and print first feet and accessories for furniture, then for resthome appliance and lightingpackaging and horse riding, without ever abandoning the footwear field.

Today Favaron is an established company in the world of plastic moulding in Padua, satisfying every need of different industries.
